Napoli main aim to season is now CL and Copa Italia. They were just deducted 2 points in Serie A putting them 10 points behind Juve and in 5th place so time to concentrate on cups. Bologna, as always, fight relegation so don't care about Copa Italia. They just won in Naples last weekend overturning a 1-2 deficit in final 5 minutes so sent the regulars back home to rest. Napoli have a couple of injuries but otherwise play full squad. As you can see below Bologna missing 15 players that have 4+ appearances this year. Of the 14 players that have made 9 or more appearances this season 11 will not be available....so very inexperienced squad. Napoli now b2b home losses for first time since March 2009 and they haven't gone 3 straight home games without a result since Sept 2010. At worst this should be half bet lost but no reason they won't take Bologna out by several goals and advance to quarterfinals of the cup.

Rolltide........How much interest do you think Chelsea will have in today's League Cup match at Leeds, especially traveling half way around the world? Can't imagine we will see many first teamers and even the squad players will be a little worn from their travels. I like Leeds to advance at +203....your thoughts would be appreciated

9 hour flight back after a lackluster performance in Japan doesn't bode well for them but Leeds using reserves so it will likely be an ugly match. i'd recommend waiting for chelsea's lineup personally

too bad leeds aren't taking this seriously because they own chelsea at home historically...blues won just 4 of 40 up north

i am looking forward to watching the match. these two sides hated each other for decades and the leeds manager absolutely fn despises benitez. when he was manager over sheff united in 06/07 they were in direct relegation fight with fulham and wigan for the final drop spot. they ended up dropping because benitez threw out a shit reserve team in liverpool's final away match of season in fulham and lost 1-0. Fulham stayed up, the Blades went down...by 1 point

i think under is the better side for the total.

not betting it but i'm rooting for leeds. surprised chelsea are using so many guys that played in japan. i was really expecting romeu, sturridge, mikel, marin, piazon, and some others. so pretty strong team that should beat a midtable championship side but reeling EPL teams (arsenal last week) don't always do so well in this junk cup

my guess is under-fire Benitez sees this as only oppy for a cup. beat leeds and they're in semis with swansea, bradford city, and villa

With the attack force mostly in tact for Chelsea I am taking over 3 +112. Leeds has been involved in some high scoring affairs lately and the Chelsea backline isn't that great even when they are healthy and rested (excepting when Terry is anchoring). My only fear is that Leeds park the bus. These poor Chelsea players are going to be totally spent after the holiday fixtures!
